From crayons to spray cans, this creative journey has been a life changing experience. I wanted to acknowledge that and make a fun piece of art that’s educational but also reflects a bit of my childhood hood and where my current works are at. Growing up we would always sing a few Māori songs that stuck with you for life and one of them was learning the colours and vowels in Te Reo Māori.
